Funny situation in today’s game, April 10, 2024 against the Phillies in St. Louis, Lance Lynn had some issues with his belt. He promptly headed over to the dugout to grab a replacement.
It’s definitely weird seeing the uniform without the red belt around the waist.
I don’t know if this sort of incident has happened in previous seasons, and if it has, I also don’t know the frequency in which other player’s belts have broken in game. And I also don’t know who is manufacturing the belts, but I will say that it’s a great coincidence to see uniform elements going wrong in a season in which Nike and Fanatics has made so many poor uniform choices.

Never seen this before. It would be interesting to find out if there was also a belt manufacturing change for this season, adding to the ongoing saga of porr uniform performance.
