Happy Opening Week! We’re off to a good start. Our guys on the field look energetic and are playing some fun-to-watch baseball to start the 2025 season. AND there’s also some good news for our uniforms. I’ll give credit where credit is due, Nike+Fanatics have successfully delivered the Cardinals Home Saturday cream alternates on the very first Saturday of the ’25 season!
Last season the Home Saturday uniforms were not ready and were not worn until May 18 due to some sort of production issues. The Victory Blue alternates were also not ready on time in 2024, nor in 2023.
But this season the Cardinals took the field on the first home Saturday wearing the prescribed uniform. It is also important to note that the Home Saturday alternates still have the little sun collar seam around the collars, and there is no change to these uniforms other than the smaller front number, and larger letters for the names on back.
