Welcome back from hibernation. Pitchers and catchers have reported, baseball is back.
And as usual, a new year, a new Spring Training cap. As posted by Ben Hochman on Instagram earlier this week, the new caps have a red crown and what looks like a black (or dark navy) brim. Flowers and an orange (grapefruit?) can be seen offset of the STL emblem.
The patch on the side does not say L B, it says 2 6, and has a palm tree between the numbers, all in front of a beach and sun on the horizon? Many more photos can be seen on the Cardinals Instagram of players wearing the new caps.
