Today is September 15th, which means it is Roberto Clemente Day. The Cardinals participated in honoring the great humanitarian baseball star by wearing patches with Clemente's number, 21, on their chest.
In last night's game the Cardinals wore patches on their caps honoring the memory of those affected on September 11, 2001. All teams in MLB have been wearing this cap patch design since 2018.
