We’re keeping score. Yesterday, Saturday April 13, the Cardinals played in Arizona against the Diamondbacks and wore their road gray uniforms instead of their road blue alternates. If you haven’t been following the news, 1: Nike has imposed limitations on how many uniforms teams can wear, AND 2: they aren’t capable of even producing/delivering the uniforms they are contractually obligated to make.
The Cardinals brand designates that the team wear White uniforms at Home. Cream uniforms on Saturdays at Home. Gray uniforms on the Road. Blue uniforms on Saturdays on the Road.
This is the second road Saturday that the Cardinals have been without their blue uniforms, and also were without their cream uniforms at home last Saturday.
Maybe next weekend we’ll open up an Over/Under Pool on when (or IF) we’ll see the blue and cream uniforms this season.
