Happy belated Jackie Robinson Day, which was yesterday, and is an official MLB holiday every April 15th. Here’s all the things I noticed and could find from yesterday.
The Cardinals began the day by posting an instagram image, further using the font that is expected to be on the City Connect jerseys.

On the field, the Cardinals wore red caps with the same Jackie Robinson patch as last season.
The uniforms were the standard mismatched grays with the Birds on the Patch applied to the front of the jersey. The numbers on the uniforms were the same as last season; No number on front, and a blue 42 on the back.
The socks were gray, and custom designed with an image of Jackie Robinson on them. While the socks look similar to Jackie Socks worn in previous season, these were unique to 2024. MLB, or Stance I guess, seems to come up with new sock designs every year for these holiday games. Here are some closeup images of the official 2024 Jackie socks.

I noticed many players wearing custom Jackie Robinson cleats. And stole some good pics from the Cardinals instagram.
This might appease some of you, check out Wilson Contreras last night, wearing all navy catcher’s gear, and wearing the Cardinals navy helmet with it.
