Thanks to Uni-Watch for posting these. It would appear that there is going to be two styles of batting practice caps for this season. In the picture below, the cap on the left is the same batting practice cap the Cardinals worn last year, they will wear it again this year. On the right you’ll see a new gray road batting practice cap. These caps are identical other than the colors.
I don’t think we’ll see these caps paired with the on-field in-game uniforms, but it will be interesting to see how it looks if some guys are wearing the blue Saturday alternate uniforms on the road during BP while also wearing these new gray caps. So let’s mock it up! Take a look below.
