Earlier this week we got a look at the 2025 Spring Training Caps. The ST cap this year is identical to last year’s with the exception of the Spring Training patch on the side of the cap.
The other thing to mention about these caps; this is the second year in a row of poor stitching techniques on the bird. I made a post about this last year comparing the quality of stitching.
The general concept is the same of the Sunday Cap, but they are clearly not made/stitched the same way. The Spring Training caps have thick inconsistent line weights… The long wing line that runs up close to the bird’s face, the head crest, the face around the beak, and the tail all have considerably thicker lines than the inner wing pattern, the eyeball, and the bat. Just another example of uniform and garment manufacturers (New Era) making a good logo look bad.
