Lou Brock wore the Cardinals uniform as a player from 1964 through 1979. Brock’s number was officially retired after his last season in 1979. Lou is best remembered for wearing uniforms of the 1960s when playing in three World Series, but is also remembered for wearing the pajama pullovers of the 1970s when breaking and setting stolen base records.
