The 1922 Stars have a wonderful team photo, and it would appear most players are wearing the home white uniform, and one player in the back row is wearing what looks like a road uniform. Cool Papa Bell is also in the back row, wearing what is maybe a practice uniform. It is our understanding that in the Major Leagues rookies and players trying out would often wear practice uniforms or old uniforms from previous years. This has lead us to believe that Cool Papa Bell is a rookie in this photo, making it 1922.
These uniforms and logos are best approximations based on a scarce number of photographs. Years, colors, logos, and uniform styles have been approximated.
