After only one year with red beaks, the Cardinals changed their uniforms and print graphics back to birds with yellow beaks. The rendering of the birds on the jerseys began to slightly devolve and still did not match the print graphic. Numbers were restored to the front of the jersey in 1999.

As pointed out by reader Elias Coblentz on the 1998 page, it would appear the Cardinals wore their Sunday caps for all Sunday games, home and road in 1999. This would only last this one season, and in 2000 it would become only a Sunday Home cap.

On July 30th the Cardinals participated in a promotion called Turn Ahead The Clock and wore neo-futuristic jerseys that featured… robot birds…
On September 6th the Cardinals wore red jerseys on Labor Day that featured Cardinals Care MDA patches.
