May 11, 2007 the Cardinals wore 1971 throwbacks. It is important to note that in no way does the Birds on the Bat worn on these throwbacks represent the 1971 Birds on the Bat, nor do they officially represent any current Birds on the Bat. The logo used was a poorly stitched patch applied on white felt and then applied on the jersey as a patch. It is not an authentic recreation of 1971 nor 2007.
