The Cardinals have announced on instagram, as a result of their recent uniform survey, that navy caps will make a return as the primary road cap.
My congratulations go out to all the Blue Cappers who have been incredibly vocal these past 13 years. Yes, it’s been 13 years since the decision was made to make red caps the primary road cap. Now the navy blue is back.
The Cardinals did not release the results of the survey, as far as I know, but it would interesting to see how many people voted, where the votes came from, and compare it to the original blue cap survey taken back in 2012/2013. Plus we’d love to see the rest of the results from the survey.

I remember your red cap vs navy blue cap aarticle. I agree that the Cardinals should wear RED caps both at home and on the road. Why navy blue against blue teams like the Cubs, Brewers, Royals, Dodgers, etc? The red Cardinals caps stand out.
