I have 3 concepts, and I’d love to share them with you.
1. We are a RED team
Get rid of the blue! The Cardinals are named after the color, not the bird, and therefore we should be a red team only. (this is a total pipe dream, it’s just a concept)
Notable features:
– STL cap emblem has no outline, single color embroidered.
– No front numbers on uniforms
– 2013-2023 Chain Stitch Embroidery directly on uniform
– Red beaked birds
– Home uniform says Cardinals
– Road uniform says St. Louis
– Road uniform is a custom red-gray fabric color: (0/15/15/40)
– Road uniform has thin sleeve and pant piping
– Sock stripe pattern simplified
– Alternate home uniform is modern interpretation of the 1926 World Series uniform.
2. Consolidate Elements of Current Uniforms
This is a realistic take on what we are currently wearing, with elements consolidated together to make our uniforms more harmonious.
Notable features:
– Home and Road primary cap shall be the red cap.
– Sunday Cap is redesignated as the alternate Saturday cap worn home and road
– 2013-2023 Chain Stitch Embroidery directly on uniform
– All home uniforms say Cardinals, all road uniforms say St. Louis
– Road uniform has custom blue-gray fabric: (15/0/0/30)
– Cream for Saturday (or Sunday) home
– Victory Blue for Saturday (or Sunday) road
3. Red at Home , Blue on Road
Let’s really be a blue team. Bring the blue full on and let Blue be just as equal part of the brand as Red is.
Notable features:
– Home cap is red
– Road cap is navy blue
– 2013-2023 Chain Stitch Embroidery directly on uniform
– All home uniforms say Cardinals, all road uniforms say St. Louis
– Road uniform has custom blue-gray fabric: (15/0/0/30)
– Cream for Saturday (or Sunday) home
– Victory Blue for Saturday (or Sunday) road
– Navy blue socks for road uniforms with 1956 sock stripe pattern
