MLB, NewEra, St. Louis Cardinals, Negro League Museum in Kansas City, and everyone involved in rolling out St. Louis Stars “throwback” caps… The Stars never wore those caps, they are a modern contrivance.
The font they used for the STL is called Windsor. I have written about this a couple times before, see this post, and this post. But for some reason, the powers that be continue with their ignorance and complacency.
Instead, please enjoy and appreciate authentic St. Louis Stars, AND St. Louis Giants, uniforms below.
