The Cardinals in tonight's game in Milwaukee are wearing an MLB Play Ball patch on the sides of their cap. This patch is expected to be worn all weekend, through the 15th, as implied by MLB's article here.
If you tuned into today's ballgame you noticed the red poppy patch on the upper chest, practically on the shoulder, of the Cardinals jerseys. As has been tradition since 2021, the Cardinals along with every team around baseball wears the patch for Memorial Day. The patch is identical to previous seasons.
Last night the Cardinals kicked off their weekend in Kansas City wearing special occasion caps and socks for the Armed Forces. These caps and socks will presumable be worn all weekend, as has been the case in previous seasons.
